At The Time Of Charging A Conductor, It Must Be Placed On Insulated Stand. Explain The Reason?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The atoms which make up a conductor contain electrons, neutrons and protons. Electrons are attracted to Protons and are able to jump from one conductor to another there is not an insulator between them. Protons and neutrons are stuck in place. If there is no insulator between the ground (which is a very large conductor) and the conductor electrons will be sucked up or pushed into the ground which will remove any charge on the object.
