    The leaning Tower of Pisa is a campanile or a freestanding bell tower. This tower is part of the cathedral of Italian city of Pisa. This tower is located behind the cathedral and is the third oldest structure in the Cathedral square of Pisa.

    This tower was constructed in 1173. It has a height of 55.86 meters on one side and 56.70 on the other side. This tower has 296 or 294 steps. The seventh floor has 2 few steps towards the north facing staircase. It leans at an angle of 3.97 degree.
