I have a personal experience from this and so does my ex girlfriend. I was in iraq for a couple of years and my ex is a police woman for the country of argentina. We both did not get much sleep. Pushing our body's over 48 hours without sleeping. This is called sleep deprivation, which can cause you to act like an idiot. Laugh at stupid things, or be really cranky. Your brain doesnt have the rest it needs so it starts to shut down and basically make you an idiot. This is a major reason why my ex and I split up. Sleep deprivation can cause confusion and result in not having your priorities straight. For example, let the dog out , or call my job to let them know im not coming in today. People with sleep deprivation may let the dog out first and forget about the more important matter. Take care of your body my friend
