If your eyes are just irritated from all the dust and pollen in the air right now, you could just use an eye drop that you can get over the counter.
If there might be an infection, you can get something called boric acid. It's an eye wash that might help out, and it isn't the kind of acid that you might think, it does not burn the eye. Hope this helps.
