Ortho Micronor is a drug that is used to prevent pregnancy. It doesn't contain any estrogen. It contains Norethindrone that is a form of progestin, which is a hormone that prevents the occurrence of pregnancy by changing the womb and cervical mucus so that it is difficult for an egg to meet a sperm. It is better than the other methods of birth control but is less effective than estrogen based methods. The most common side effects include Breast tenderness, changes in menstrual flow, including breakthrough bleeding or spotting, dizziness, headache, nausea etc
