Egg is the largest cell of living organisms. The outer most part of the egg cell is the shell. Below the shell there is a thin membrane is present which is called cell membrane. It is a selectively permeable membrane, which can allow only the specific substances to pass in it. Egg cell contents are same like the other animal cell contents.Cell membrane is the basically outer part of the egg cell. Beneath the cell membrane there is a fluid like material, which is called as cytoplasm. It consists of most of the contents of the cell called cell organelles. This material is mostly made up of water and other organelles.

Other organelles are mitochondria, Golgi complex, nucleus, ribosome, endoplasmic reticulum, lysosomes etc. Golgi complex is the network of membranes whose secretions play a vital role in cell. Endoplasmic reticulum is a network of channels.
There is a nucleus present in the middle of the egg cell. The outer most membrane of the nucleus is called as nuclear membrane. There is a fluid like material present with in the nuclear membrane, which is called as nucleoplasm. Cytoplasm and nucleoplasm collectively called as protoplasm.
