The record number of Wembley FA cup final appearances is five, and there are eight different payers who (excluding replays) have appeared in that amount.
Former Arsenal and Huddersfield Town player Joe Hulme became the first player to appear in five Wembley cup finals, with his five trips to Wembley, all pre war. He appeared four times in Arsenal colours, winning twice as once whilst representing Huddersfield, with Hulme on the losing side.
Johnny Giles appeared in five, once for Man Utd, a game they won and on four other occasions for Leeds Utd, winning only one of those matches.
