Yes this may become a problem. The rib bones can become obstructed in the stomach or small intestines. Also pancreatitis can result after severe dietary indiscretion. Have your dog examined by a veterinarian. They will take an x-ray to determine where the rib bones are and if they are intact or chewed up. They may be able to induce your dog to vomit pending on time since ingestion.
