The Company I Worked For Is No Longer In Business, But I Now Have A Lax Levy, What Did I Do?
I no longer work for this company that has received a tax levy on me. I am now self employed. How do I handle this problem. And if I do work as a sub-contractor through another company can they still levy my pay. The company in question is no longer in business. They have since changed owners and name.

Are you talking about a tax levy or a wage garnishment? I don't see how an employer would receive a tax levy on you as you put it. A wage garnishment I can understand. If you mean garnishing your wages, yes the IRS can do it through whomever you are working for.
