This should be the elevation at which the flat playing surface of the table should be at. The standard width of the table tennis table is 5 feet or 60 inches. This translates to precisely 152.5 centimeters. There is a standard width that the table should subscribe to as well. The rules state that the table should be exactly 9 feet long. That translates to exactly 108 inches, or 274 centimeters.

          The table should also, the rule states, usually be in the standard color prescribed, which is green. The perimeter of the table also has a line running along each edge. The table usually has a matt finish. Besides the white line at the edges, which is all of 2 centimeters wide, there is also another line running down the middle of the table.
