Can I File For Disability If My Hours Have Been Reduced At Work?
My work hours have just been cut from 75 hours per week to 30! I've been also suffering health problems over the past 2 years due to sarcoidosis... Including very recent sinusitis surgery. This comes at a very bad time, so what can I do?

I go to many dr's (pulmonary, eye, e.n.t., sleep apnea) but feel with a little patience, I could hang in there. The current surgery & last summers lung problem have/had me home awhile. The reduced time and disability is my employers idea. So i feel i don't have any choice!

My friend drives a truck, was out of work for sleep study & apnea operation. Extra insurance ran out now he's not allowed back to work driving and can only work handling. They say he needs a new sleep study but the dr doesn't do them for 2 mo. To see how the operation took. He's told he has to have it now which is only 4 weeks. He's worried if he doesn't pass the test read by his co's dr he won't be able to drive and loose his job.
His co. Only allows him 3 or 4 hours a few days a week since he's come back and its handling. Is he eligible for Disability? Should he get a lawyer?
