How Long After Weaning Kittens Does Cat's Milk Dry Up?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Milk should dry up within the week after nursing.  Milk production will continue if the stimulation continues.  This may be continued snuggling/licking from the kittens or if the mother continues to lick her mammary glands excessively.  Do not massage or pet the mammary glands once the kittens are weaned or this will continue milk production as well.
