Bath in Somerset has the only natural hot springs found in the UK and was an early spa town under the Romans. The gothic abbey in Bath is a very picturesque building set in the middle of the city.

Taunton at the centre of the county is the largest town with around 60,000 inhabitants in 2006 and is home to Somerset County Cricket Club. The town is used by many tourists who wish to explore the surrounding countryside.

Bridgewater, a main industrial town and inland port with good connections serviced by the railway docks and the Taunton and Bridgewater Canal.  Although today it still retains a market town feel it is still located very close to the M5 motorway.

Wells a very popular tourist destination set at the foot of the Mendip Hills. A small city but still boasting a famous cathedral and having three wells in the city from which it derives its name.
