How Do I Solve 3(5X-2)=54?

I am taking an on line class in introductory algebra and failed my test and try to figure out 3 equations how to solve for them. The other two are: -5 + X = -21 how do i solve that? The next one: 7-4X > 3-3X how do i solve for that? I don't just want the answer. If possible guide and show me step by step?

    3(5X-2)=54      

    (distributed 3)

    15x-6=54

    (cancelled out '-6')

    15x = 60

    (divided by 15)

    x= 4

      You eed to distibute the 3 into the parenthesis then sove for x
