Will Your Hamster Get Hurt If He Falls?
My hamster fell off the dresser and she let out a squeak. Is this because she is hurt?
Answers
Probably. If you were that small, that would be like falling off a building. If she continues to eat and pass stool normally, and she doesn't limp for more than an hour, you are probably good though.

Now your hamster is hurt try not to handle her too much. You must give her bruised body time to heal. In future try to put play areas for your hamster at a lower height and maybe wait about two weeks before you bring her out to play too much so that her little rib cage and body has time to fully recover.

No. It won't get hurt. Don't drop it regularly though, and if you spot it limping or not using it's back legs, seek a vet.
