Did Dodo Birds Lay Eggs?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Yes they did lay eggs..  A Dodo egg is on display at the East London museum in South Africa. Until recently, the most intact remains, currently on display at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, were one individual's partly skeletal foot and head which contain the only known soft tissue remains of the species.

Yes, Dodo birds did lay eggs but they are now extinct because long ago they had not had a nautral prey...but human. The poor immigrants ate the DoDo birds and their eggs so that was their extinction, and in 2100 sadly all the birds on earth will be in trouble

The dutch sailors did not eat the Dodo bird meat because it was to tough. Besides the birds ate rocks, and I think it would be hard to eat a bird with rocks in its system. Zoo Tycoon extinct animals shows them eating their own poop.
