When Was Google Analytics First Introduced?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Google Analytics first came about in 2005, and is similar to Urchin On Demand, an analytics system owned by Urchin Software Corporation.

In order to use Google Analytics, website owners must sign up. Up to 10 profiles can be created, one for each website. Up to 50 profiles can be created if website owners pay a fee.

Once a website owner has signed up for Google Analytics, they can begin using the service. They will be given reports so that they can see how many page view their profile is getting and where their visitors are based.

Reports are updated in less than an hour, and website owners can check their reports whenever they wish.
