    If you take the size of Hertfordshire in terms of square miles it is 634 square miles and if the same area is measured  kilometres, the area stands at 1,643 square kilometres.
          
    If we take the description of the area itself, it is an inland county located in England and you can find it on the map in the north of Greater London. The area is quite well known for its transport links and you can find, M25, M1, A1 (M) and M10 that pass through this area. There are a good number of famous places also in the vicinity of this area and Essex and Buckinghamshire are primary among them.
          
    The status of this county is that of a ceremonial one and it is also a non-metropolitan county. The administrative headquarters that serves this county is called Hertford.
