I honestly think a parent should not allow their children to get myspace until the age of at least 16.

Depends on their age. My space is okay for grown teenagers that have parents that monitor what goes on on thier site. I personally wish they'd never made the internet available to teenagers. So much trash on those sites and the internet as a whole. But so much good, too...so it's hard to argue. Certainly anyone under 16 should not be allowed a my space page. Just remember kids are very vulnerable and not aware of the deciet that goes on there, so beware when you turn them over to the internet.

Whoever thought that parents shouldn't let them untill they're 16 ..... I totally disagree with that because you only have to be 13 to have one. So I think parents should let them but they should make sure that their child's profile is private untill they think their child is responsible enough to have a public profile..... Ummm...... Don't be too over-protective let them add friends maybe that they know from school and they might want to add family???....
