    During the first three months you should keep eating around 1900-2500 calories a day. For the last six months you should increase your calorie intake by 300 calories. If you are underweight then you should increase you intake by 500 instead of 300, and if you are overweight you only need an extra 150-200 calories. If you are overweight you should only gain 15-20 pounds during your pregnancy, 20-30 if you are of normal weight, and 30-35 if you are underweight.
