As you know that with every passing day more and more businesses, communities and organizations are going online/virtual, it is very important for Pakistan to respond accordingly. Even governments are and now becoming e-government. For a while set aside the economical benefits of IT. IT is really very important for Pakistan for the timely flow of information as Pakistan is severely facing the tide of Terrorism. Somebody blast at any place but nobody knows who did it. Authorities know there is something going to happen but they do not know when, who and where it is going to be done. Economies can flourish only in the presence of peace. Would give some comments on economical benefits later.
