    Following are the documents that you would need in order to apply for a visit visa to Germany:

    • Fully completed application form and required declaration
    • 2 passport photographs
    • valid national passport and one copy
    • your current bank statement and one copy
    • reference letter from your employer
    • proof of group travel/hotel reservation/airline reservation and one copy
    • visa fees
    These are the standard documents that you will need. Other than these you can consult the German consulate for more details and requirements. It usually takes about 2-10 days to process a Visa application, however the margin should be kept for any further delays. The fee is usually 60 euros for the visa, but it may vary according to the country you are in.
