Can Cat Die From Eating The Mums Plant?
Our cat is throwing up a thick, gritty liquid. He has no energy and seems to be very ill. We think that he has eaten some outdoor house plants; Mums, Impatience plants. Would this fatal to the cat? What could we do to help our cat? He seems to be very sick, and he is not acting like himself at all. We are very worried. Thank you so much.

Mums and impatients are considered non-toxic plants though they can cause gastrointestinal upset like vomiting and diarrhea. The treatment is typically supportive care.
If your cat was eating things from the yard I would be more concerned she ate something you don't know about.
I strongly recommend having your cat examined by a veterinarian, have diagnostics done if needed-blood work and x-rays, and started on care ie fluid therapy, anti-vomiting medications.

The plant poisoning can cause serious problems in cat. The Muns are poisonous and can cause problems. If you suspect that your cat has eaten some plant then don't wait for the symptoms to appear and go immediately to Vit. The vomiting can also be due to some other reasons. So don't guess what happened and take her to Vit.
