Some species of lions are also found in the Gir forests in the western state of Gujarat in India. However, the Asian lion is an endangered species, and only about 200 lions are still living in the wild. A group of lions is called a pride. A pride has anything between ten and twenty lions, but the number is variable, and as such there is no hard and fast rules to how many members are there in a pride of lions. There are prides of lions that comprise 35 members. Prides live in territories (lions are territorial animals) that cover areas ranging between 15 square miles and 100 square miles. On an average, lions walk about five miles a day.

Thank you for reading my coment !
The Serengeti plains' annual wildebeest calving season in February and migration in June and July -- and subsequent return in October -- afford an opportunity to see the big cats hunting.
Females are most commonly spotted, usually lolling around in the shade at midday with spotted cubs, in the spring. In Namibia's Etosha National Park, we saw a "nursery brood" of several cubs stashed under a tree under the watchful eye of an aunt while the cubs' mother hunted.
The best time of day is to see lions is when they are returning to or leaving for the hunt: near sunrise or -set.
Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa contain the most number of protected lions.
Masai Mara National Reserve and Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Kenya have legendary numbers of lions. The region of the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park in northern Botswana has many habituated prides. Kruger and Etosha national parks in South Africa and Namibia respectively are also good bets.
