    What Are The Requirements To Supply Teach In Georgia?

    I have a BS in Home Economics and a MED in Home Economics.I have been told that I can only supply teach in that area in Ga., even though I have had all of these education courses and taught school for 7 years. My friend who has a degree in Economics and no education courses has been allowed to supply in Geography, Math, and Literature. We were told it was because he had not had any education courses. This does not make since to me as to why I am limited.

    All what i have searched, you meet the requirements to teach in Georgia. You must have done bachelors for this at least and you are up to it. Other than this they prefer additional courses. So what is happening with you really does not make sense. Please consult again and you will be approved.
