Well, whether or not braids help in growing hair fast is a myth which has not been proved by any scientific research. For growing your hair faster you need to keep your hair clean so wash them everyday or every alternative day. Donot brush them while wet, and avoid blowers and straighteners. You can wash your hair while braided and even oil them if you want to. For washing braids make large loose braids out of the smaller ones. Pour some diluted shampoo and warm water over the braids. Massage into the scalp and the sides and base of each braid. Rinse hair thoroughly. Squeeze them with a dry towel and avoid rubbing. Let them air dry and donot sleep while they are wet.

I have thin hair and i am transitioning from relaxed hair to normal i was thinking about braids micro, should i go with human hair or synthetic or would braids be the way to go with my thin hair?
