In Which Country Was The World's Oldest Living Tree?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In 2004 the thirteen foot(4 meter) long tree was discovered in the province of Dalarna in central Sweden to be the oldest living tree known. This tree was found to have 9550 year old roots. The main reason why this tree managed to survive so long is its ability to clone itself, as soon as one stem dies a new one emerges from the same root.
