Where Is Kazakasthan Situated?

Kazakhstan is a vast country situated in the northern part of Europe and Asia. With a territory of 2,717,300 square kilometres, the country shares its borders with China, Russia, and central Asian countries of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. It also has a coastline along the Caspian Sea. Its flag is light blue in colour, and it features a golden sun with an eagle beneath it.

In the past, Kazakhstan was ruled by Genghis Khan and under his empire they had adopted a blue flag with a similar eagle. Thus it now reminds them of their proud heritage and rich culture.
