That's unfortunate that you fell in love with someone that is not gay, but it happens. If you show signs of affection you will most likely make your friend uncomfortable and you may loose the friendship. I have had this happen to me and the friend would not stop making passes at me so I had to end the friendship. I was not happy loosing a friend but I really didn't like what he was doing.
