Winston Churchill was a British politician who also served as the prime minister fro 1940 to 1945 and then from 1951 till 1955. He died on 24 January 1965. The queen granted him the state funeral on his death that was attended by a large crowd. He died at the age of 90. He had suffered from a stroke because of which he went into deep sleep and he died in this state 15 days later. He had died in his London home at Hyde Park Gate. He is buried at Westminster hall along with the other great people of British history.
