Can I Take A Builder To Court?

I have been waiting 10 months for the builder to finish my house. I have a 2yr old and a new born baby and the state of the house is just not acceptable. He has not bothered coming back to finish his job but to pull my laminate floor up in the dining room and take out two lights in the kitchen. Arr please help!

    Yes, depending on the amt. Of money involved the suit could be in small claims or a higher civil court. You definitely have grounds for a lawsuit.

    It also depends on if there is a contract and how it was written.
