    Is It Fair For My Rental Management To Accept My Rent For July And August 08', But Not For September 08'?

    In June 2008 I paid my rent for June then it came back as insufficient in which it was a banks error. I paid my rent for July and August 2008 and then my checks was accepted for those months, but when I sent out my september 2008 rent, the management returned my check back to me because of my check being insufficient for the month of June 2008. All my bills are paid thru my online banking. Is it fair for them not to accept my septs rent they had no problem accepting my july and august 2008 rent.

    I don't think it is fair. It could only be fair if you haven't got sufficient funds in your bank account for the cheque you submitted. Did you explain them the reason why your cheque of June was bounced back, if yes then they shouldn't have any problem.

    Talk to them and explain the situation before you are blamed for mistakes of the bank.
