The Ignition Of My Car Won't Start. What Could Be The Problem?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It could be numerous things. First check starter connections for tightness and contact; check the ignition switch for power; check the clutch switch or neutral start switch; start relay, starter solenoid and finally starter. Without knowing what kind of car it's hard to tell without a wiring schematic to follow current flow.

Also make sure your engine is not locked up. If it cranks over then it could be a fuel, ignition, timing or CPU problem. I hope I helped a little.
