How Do You Get Your Music To Play On The Windows Media Player Than Power DVD Player?

Answer Question

You have to follow these three simple steps in order to be able to play music on your Windows Media Player version 11. The first step is (obviously) to insert the compact disc or the digital video disc that you want to play in to the CD-ROM drive or the DVD-ROM drive of your computer.

You will find an arrow below the tab which says Now Playing. This is one of the new features of the latest version of Windows Media Player. You have to click on this arrow in order to select the drive which contains the disk that you want to play. There are buttons such as play, pause, previous and next on the playback controls. These can be used to navigate and to perform the relevant function when the disk is playing.

Have you tried Right Clicking on the file... 'Open With... and selecting the WMP icon. See if that works.
