On Wednesday, March 7, 2007 The Tribune announced the requirements for the Dental Examination, in the article they provided the requirements, for all Medical and Dental candidates. Candidates for the Examination must have completed the four year BDS degree program, and the postgraduate course in dentistry for specialization. The requirement for a one year internship is not mentioned here, however according to the requirements given for the India Army Dental Corp, this is required for acceptance. I suggest talking with an Army recruiter to verify this.
The examination is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Examinations are given through the 42 dental colleges. You requested a syllabus for this examination, however I was unable to locate any information about a syllabus, or any type of information about the type of examination questions. The examination apparently covers the subjects studied to receive your BDS such as Chemistry, Physics and Biology and the Dental Sciences. You may want to go to a counselor at the college, where you studied to discuss your goals and receive advice and provide help. Your desire to become a member of the India Army Dental Corps is an honorable goal.
Read through the information on the following website, it may also help you.
