    Archbishiop means A bishop of highest rank

    Archenemy means enemy of the highest rank

    Archangel means An angel ranked above the highest rank in the celestial hierarchy

      No, even those these three words share the same root prefix (and the same meaning of that prefix, derivation from the Latin, arcus, meaning 'expert': ), the whole words are not derived from the same root word.  You can say they have the same prefix as common, or that the root of that prefix is common, but the words as a whole do not share a common root or derivation.

        They have the same prefix, not the same root.

        The roots are bishop, enemy and angel.
