    Sun Microsystems Inc was established and founded in the year 1982 which involved Scott McNealy (Chairman) and Jonathan Schwartz (CEO and President) accompanied by several other ambitious professional. Sun Microsystems were the key developers of several innovative technologies like JAVA and NFS. Its headquarters is located in Santa Clara, California which is a part of Silicon Valley. They are also a part of famous products like Motorola 68k CPU. Around 68000 CPU were employed by Sun-1 and about 68010 by the Sun-2 series. Suns Microsystems were successful known as a low cost vendors of technical workstation during War of workstation in the year of 1980.
         
    The founder of Suns Microsystems also involved Vinod Khosla and Billy Joy who were the primary developers of BSD. The Company name was derived by the students of Stanford University Networking and later on it was stated as SUNW where the alphabet W stood for Workstation. This was introduced by fellow Stanford graduates in February 1982.
