I have begged and begged and they always say no. They know I'm responsible, but they just won't let me. I'm 11 years old with no cats or dogs. Help!

You might also try to get them to take you to the humane society. There are many cats and kittens there, at this time of year, and you could remind them that if they adopted a cat or kitten, they'd be saving a life. It also wouldn't hurt to step up and do extra chores and things around the house, it may show them that you could be responsible for taking care of the cat. Just remember though, it is a big responsibility to take care of another living being. So, if you're up to the challenge, try what you can to get a kitty.

That truly is a dilemma for you. I love cats, and have 4 of them, I can't imaging my life without them. Ask them to take you to the pet shop so you can at least look at them. They might get there and decide that a kitten is cute enough for you to get one. It's an idea, hope this helps, good luck.

Yeah it is a dilemma isn't it? lol. Well my mom has seen kittens at the pet shop and when someone was giving one away, but she won't give in. Thanks for your help though! :)

This may be bad advice, but if you know someone in your neighborhood that has kittens they are giving away free; ask to take one home to show your parents.
They might give in. They might not. It doesn't hurt to try.

Definitely do not support "pet shops." Please? Go to the nearest animal shelter and save a life! Don't breed and buy while homeless ones die!!!
