How Do I Convince My Parents To Get Me A Cat?
I have begged and begged and they always say no. They know I'm responsible, but they just won't let me. I'm 11 years old with no cats or dogs. Help!

That truly is a dilemma for you. I love cats, and have 4 of them, I can't imaging my life without them. Ask them to take you to the pet shop so you can at least look at them. They might get there and decide that a kitten is cute enough for you to get one. It's an idea, hope this helps, good luck.

Yeah it is a dilemma isn't it? lol. Well my mom has seen kittens at the pet shop and when someone was giving one away, but she won't give in. Thanks for your help though! :)
You might also try to get them to take you to the humane society. There are many cats and kittens there, at this time of year, and you could remind them that if they adopted a cat or kitten, they'd be saving a life. It also wouldn't hurt to step up and do extra chores and things around the house, it may show them that you could be responsible for taking care of the cat. Just remember though, it is a big responsibility to take care of another living being. So, if you're up to the challenge, try what you can to get a kitty.

oh yeah, sorry i forgot to say, sometimes my parents won't let me look at cats because they'll be like "no, you'll just WANT it!!" :/ but I can probably convince them anyway. ;) thanks again!
This may be bad advice, but if you know someone in your neighborhood that has kittens they are giving away free; ask to take one home to show your parents.

Definitely do not support "pet shops." Please? Go to the nearest animal shelter and save a life! Don't breed and buy while homeless ones die!!!

I'm with you, I have decided that I'll only get animals from the humane society. I won't adopt from no kill shelters, just because I know they'll always have a home. I just adopted a kitten, 3 months ago.

I have the same dilemma but ive tried every solution because my neighbors cat had kittens and thier are 2 left and if i dont get them the will go to the pound plus i have 100 dollars to spend on anything i want and this is it. My dad and mom wont budge!
