So the poem is going to be called The Crescendo, and I jest need some imagery, whatever comes to mind first.

Cresendo? Hmm. First thing that comes to my mind is music. However, a play that is leading up to that moment of moments would be interesting. Or what about this...two lovers when they first kiss.

A few ideas:
The moment a person becomes saved or born again if you are a believer in denominations that preach and practice their chosen religion.
The moment a patient realizes he/she is going to live after a major surgery or accident.
When a loved one who is ready in their hearts to pass on the moment they pass.
When a couple realize the depth of their love.
When you find the end of your rainbow.
When one reaches an important decision in his/her life, a crossroads, and realized they made the right decision.
Many others, but am thinking of sad ones, and I don't want to stifle your creativity. I realize some of mine are pretty serious, but all the journeys of our life lead to some sort of crescendo. Would love to see your final poem if you care to share.
