Donald Trump is an American business executive, entrepreneur, and author. He is the Chief Executive of The Trump Organization which is an American based real-estate development company. He is also the founder and owner of Trump Entertainment. Trump Entertainment successfully operates various gaming casinos in Las Vegas and other places where gambling is legal in the United States. Donald Trump has gain a lot of pubilcity from his hit television series known as The Apprentice. He is both the executive producer and the host of this reality game show. Starting with the renovation of the Commodore Hotel into the Grand Hyatt, he continued on with Trump Tower and several other residential projects. He would later expand into the airline industry and Atlantic City casino business. This expansion, both personal and business, led to mounting debt. Much of the news about him in the early 1990s involved his much publicized financial problems, creditor-led bailout, extramarital affair with Marla Maples and the resulting divorce from his first wife Ivana Trump.

He is popularly known by his nickname "The Donald", given to him by ex-wife Ivana Trump. He is also known by the nicknames "A Schoolboy's Dream", and "A Competitor's Challenge," as well as for his catchphrase "You're Fired" and his unique hair style. Due to his outspokenness and media exposure, Trump is an easily recognizable public figure whose distinctive comb over is the subject of humour by comedians such as David Letterman, Jay Leno, and Conan O'Brien.
The Miss Universe Organization is owned by Donald Trump and the National Broadcasting Company (NBC). The organization produces the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants. In 2005, Trump launched Trump University, a business education company.[3] In 2006, Trump started Trump Mortgage, a mortgage firm.
