Looking back through history and at the clubs remaining in this seasons FA cup, it is almost certain that the winner will be either Manchester United or Arsenal.
Since the FA cup moved to the Millennium staduim in Wales for the two thousand, two thousand and one final whilst Wembley staduim was rebuilt, only three sides have lifted the trophy. Those three sides are Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.
With last years finalists knocked out by Arsenal, only two of the three remain. If you look back even further in time, the only other side to have won the FA cup other than the big three is Chelsea and they haven't tasted victory since the year two thousand.
Part of the reason for the big threes domination in the trophy is the increased difficulty in winning the Premier league. With only four major trophies up for grabs each season, the bigger clubs take all four tournaments seriously.
