What Is A Handicap?

A handicap is given to a golfer who plays consistent and regular golf. This decides how good you are and gives everyone of different golfing standards even chances of winning. A handicap ranges from 0 - 36. 0 being the best and 36 being the worst. a handicap also decides how many shots you get on each hole, so the higher your handicap the more shots you get on each hole. This is because you may not be that good and need those extra shots on each hole to give you a fair chance of winning, just like everyone else.
