Download it to your desktop, then restart. Do not open anything and right click the installer and run as administrator. Should work, if problem still persists. Right click the taskbar and run task manager, click the processes tab and organize the processes by name or just look for firefox.exe then highlight hit delete or end task button. If firefox doesn't show up in the task manager i don't know what to tell ya. Good luck

When the window pop up again, try to choose ignore instead, it will work too.

Make sure the Firefox's download manager is also closed.  Also, if you are running Mac OS 10, make sure to go up to the bar at the top of the screen and click on Firefox  > Quit Firefox.
