There is no guarantee that your dog is pregnant.  The more times she was bred during heat the more likely conception occurred.  The first part of heat she is not as receptive to the male and is less likely to conceive as she has not ovulated yet. 
Pregnancy can be diagnosed by palpation (feeling) of the abdomen at about 26 days--at this point uterine enlargement can be felt.  Ultrasound can be used at day 20-22 to detect pregnancy but is more reliable after day 26.  The fetal skeletons calcify at day 45 so this is when they can be seen on x-rays.  X-ray is the most accurate way of estimating the number of puppies.
Usually by the fourth week-day 28-30 you will see some slight abdominal enlargement followed by mammary development. 
If this is an unwanted pregnancy have your dog spayed immediately.

The amount of time doesn't really matter, it's a matter of how ready her body is to having a litter. Some males don't produce strong enough semen to produce puppies, but there always stands a great chance that she will become pregnant. Hope this helps, good luck.
