Some health professionals will say no, as it is an open wound. But look at it this way, would tones of studios be allowed to do it if it wasn't? As long as you keep it CLEAN, and keep your FINGERS away from it, you should be fine.

Well as long as you make sure you are getting it pierced in a sanitary shop, you clean it regularly, and don't touch it alot then your good. I got mine at the age of 14
