Is There Any Holistic Cat Food That Is Good For Cats With Bladder Stone Tendencies?
My 5 years old cat has had surgery twice for bladder stones. Now the vet wants to do a penectimy on him. She says I need to change food to a low magnesium, low ash diet. I'm skeptical of Hills .

I know this sounds redundant, but try www.purinaone.com, it's supposed to be a free site to ask a vet about things, doesn't hurt to ask.
Another site you can try for asking questions, is www.drlarrypetvet.com, this site however, asks for $5.95 per question, might be worth it to check them out too.
If it helps out the kitty, who has been your friend for some time, then I would think it's worth it. Good luck.

I saw at pets mart a specific food for urinary and stones, I think it was purine one or it could have been royal canine, it is a little pricey but if it keeps your cat pain free it is worth it.

Try the Purina Urinary Tract food.
I use this for my cat. Believe it or not, the doofus likes the WalMart generic brand better.
