    Different nationalities have different requirements for the National Guard service. Here are some of the requirements needed to join the National Guard of the United States of America. There are some physical, academic and legal qualifications that you have to fulfill. First you need to be at least 17 years of age and have no physical disabilities and be of a sound mind. You must be at least a high school graduate. You should not have any kind of criminal record. You also need to acquire minimum marks in the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) exam. You shall be selected either for Air Force or military depending upon the marks you have scored. You also need to complete your basic training in order to qualify.         My son was born without a right hand and is thinking of joining the National Guard. He does everything a person with two hands can do, but i was wanting to know if he would be accepted.
