Which Is Bigger A Two Series Volvo Or A Classic Range Rover?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In terms of length, the two series Volvo is larger than the classic Range Rover. The two series Volvo, both the 4 door and the estate, measure 4.79 metres long whereas the classic Range Rover is substantially shorter at 4.45 metres long. Even the long wheelbase variant of the Range Rover is shorter, measuring 4.65 metres from tip to stern.

This is, of course, reflected in the wheelbases of the two vehicles, the Volvo wheelbase being 2.65 metres (except models without power steering, which are marginally shorter at 2.64 metres) and the Range Rover wheelbase being 2.54 m and 2.74 metres for the long wheelbase model.

However, width-wise, it is the classic Range Rover than comes out on top, having an overall width of 1.8 metres, a good 10 centimetres more than across the beam of a two series Volvo.

The two series Volvo, then, wins on length but is narrower and much less tall, 1.43 metres and 1.46 metres respectively for the 4 door and the estate, compared to the lofty height of the Range Rover at 1.79 metres tall.
