Where Is Shanghai?

Shanghai is in east china wherein it is located on the banks of the Yangtze River Delta. It is the eight largest cities in the world and is also a main cultural, commercial, financial, industrial and communications centres of China. Some of the places that you surely do not want to miss when you visit Shanghai are Huangpu River and the Bund, Jade Buddha Temple, Jin Mao Tower, Longhua Pagoda and Longhua Temple, Nanjing Road, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Qibao Ancient Town, The Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen, The Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Xin Tian Di, Yuyuan Garden and Zhujiajiao.

The temperature here is quiet freezing during the winters and extremely hot during the months of July and August. You may also receive rainfall during early summers. Spring, is considered to be the most gorgeous season but is highly up-and-down, due to recurrent rain and irregular spells of warmth and cold.
