What Is Kickboxing?

    The word kickboxing is used to defined an athletic form of workout. Kickboxing is a form of exercise which includes shadow boxing, heavy work which involves the use of a punching bag, drills to improve the strength of the kick boxer and drills that condition the kick boxer.

    Kickboxing is defined as a class of exercises which basically focuses mostly on the use of the upper body for the purpose of landing a variety of punches and also focuses on the use of the lower body for the purpose of landing a variety of kicks.

    Every kick boxer is provided with necessary protective gear which he or she must wear while kick boxing. He or she must wear a pair of boxing gloves and a pair of wrist wraps to prevent his hands, fingers and wrists from getting injured. Kickboxing is a martial art, which involves a combination of various types of punches and kicks.
